This week’s edit is so fantástico that the location of our story requires an actual time travel machine or a máquina del tiempo. (Guess who got the google translate out.)

Notoriously legit with anyone who’s a virtuoso of all things luxey (it me), the Aman Hotel group are set to open up their latest offering in 2020. Which means we have exactly one year to brush up on our Spanish, get margarita fit (Taco Bell I’m coming for ya) and plan out every detail of just how we are going to make the most of this dreamy slice of heaven.

The location of said slice is set in Baja Mexico, just on the edge of the Sea of Cortés. The vibe is what I like to call luxey as fudge. And thanks to the extreme privacy of the pavilions the dress code is basically anything you want it to be. Which makes it perfect for anyone with a hankering for a nudist beach without all the other ‘beach balls’ and ‘banana hammocks’ if you you know what I mean. (I’m talking about private parts people.)

This lack of limitations may be intimidating for the more modest among us. So to help you achieve your perfect virtual-vacay wardrobe I have chucked in as many cutie pieces as the edit could handle. Including some of the luxiest looking sunnies and bodysuits I could find for an absolute steal. Think pockets of Pesos, hombres!

In true AMAN style, the aesthetic and architecture are determined by the surroundings. And with all the dreamy views of sand, sea and mountains it promises the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor spaces.

If you’re in the business of looking the business on any beach escape the top of your priority list should always be your skin. So I included my all-time favourite sunscreen by Knightsbridge’s most famous beauty clinic, Dr Rita Rakus Clinic. I also feature her Vitamin C serum. I used this nonstop on my latest beach escape and I noticed a huge difference when I combined the sunscreen to protect my skin with vitamin C to feed it.

Now that we have ticked the box of glowy skin the only thing left to work on is that glow from within. Dr Tara Swart’s latest book, The Source is probably the ultimate holiday read because it has all sorts of exercises that will blow your mind, given the right environment for some proper introspection. As a world-famous Neuroscientist, all the reprogramming she helps you to do with your squishy old brain are backed up by the latest scientific research. Think The Secret, minus the crystals but with legit magical results. So legit in fact that it’s the exact same exercises she practices as a leadership coach with CEO’s from the world’s most impressive companies. I have also popped in a bedazzled diary for you to jot down notes as you read, as well as some of the cutest gosh-darn cactus gel-pens, so that even your notes are totes appropes.
