THYME ENGLAND
This week on THE X CARTEL, in celebration of the onset of one of my top 4 favourite seasons I have decided to treat you all to a little ‘how-to’ for the English countryside.
To do this I decided to take you all on a virtual vaycay with a little trip to the Cotswold’s Thyme Hotel and Spa.
Described as a village within a village, this dreamy hotel is made up of a collection of buildings which have been transformed into the hotel and Spa, the Ox Barn restaurant, The Swan pub and even a few cosy (read gobsmackingly beautiful) country houses you can rent out for bigger parties (or PARTAYS depending on how much wine you plan on guzzling between croquet rounds).
I have chucked together an assortment of stylish yet cosy thingies for you to bundle up in while you are there… think plaid, plaid and, well, more plaid. Plus some fluffy checked items just to really spice things up with a bit of variety!
So turn on your kettle or crack open the red wine, it’s thyme (sorry) to get those fires crackling while you sit back, relax and enjoy this week's edit of THE X CARTEL.
